An Event by NUWAVEMALTA in colloboration with V-GEN ROCK CLUB!!

with special guests VIDI AQUAM (POST PUNK/DARKWAVE BAND from Italy)

Vidi Aquam Post Punk / Dark Wave and Gothic band were formed in 1994 in Milan, Italy, by: Nikita (the founder of the band, voice, lyrics, synths and programming); Fabio Degiorgi (bass, programming), Daniele Viola (guitar, drum machine).

The band took part in several Festivals obscure and Gotic, and has ongoing activity of concerts mainly in Italy, Switzerland and Germany and other festivals in Europe, where several times shared stage with established bands like Faith & the Muse, Norma Loy and Stalingrad.

Mentioned in several books including Dark scene that Mick Mercer \"Music to Die for\" and \"21st Century Goth\" in the book of Nancy Kilpatrick \"The Goth Bible\", and that of Ivano Galletta \"Il Dark: guida alla musica oscura \".

In 2007 Vidi Aquam collaborated with Dirty Actions (band among the bands legendary pioneer of Italian punk music) on the CD \"21 Dirty RMXs\", with remixes of their classic song \"The Lombroso Museo di\". Some other excerpts from a Vidi Aquam are included in several compilations obscure and Gotic, the most recent \"Lunar Sea\", which was published by Shinto Records in the U.S. in August 2009 and \"Sounds Behind The Corner Vol. 4 \"this year.

In April 2010 came the first official album, named \"The World Dies\" 10 clips ranging from classic post-punk sound for Dark Wave and Gothic influences electronic and mmasterjat recorded under French label Prikosnovenie in Studio Mastering Magic studio. The album was distributed in Europe by Rosa Selvaggia Obscure Label, France from Prikosnovenie and in the U.S. by Shinto Records.

80's was the best music and will be for all time.being a pianist and singer i quickly recognized the genius of bands such as spandau ballet depeche mode soft cell new order etc when the synthesizer came to be the 'thing'.i remember dressing up in black leather( just like depeche mode) and i still do , and hitting raffles and jjs and stownes... long live the 80s music!!

I have several vinyl albums and 12 inch but now only CD versions.. also have some US imports or Seire records... ..My last album got it as a box set , the big box set , Music for the universe , I hear the DM daily , inmy car , before I sleep .... great Band..
