Hoot, hope all is well. Still working on that 58 cal Hawken Sharon rifle. Soldering the barrel components was a learning experience. Will be following your directions for the nose cap pour. Did get sidetracked, found an old beat up CVA percussion rifle at a gun shop, much like I built when I was 17 back in 78. Converted to flint and rebuilt it. Take care.
