I am writing to you personally as a fellow Protestant, patriot and the founder of Medals of Distinction, which has set out to give for the very first time, civilians loyal to the Crown in Ulster the choice of a wonderful new limited edition (1000) silver plated cupro-nickel Northern Ireland (Civilian) Home Services Medal.
The Government may continue to give concessions to those who sought to kill, maim and terrorise, but the British people will never forget the price paid by those loyal to the Crown in Northern Ireland. Well, I am extremely proud to say that with the support and advice of many wonderful people who lived through those dark days that we have achieved medallic recognition where previously none existed.
Your medal is produced by Worcestershire Medal Services Limited of Bromsgrove, who make and supply the Elizabeth Cross for next of kin of those killed in the Armed Forces. The quality of this die struck medal is of the very highest standard, being swing, Court or ladies bow mounted and can come boxed or in a frame with free inscription. Bespoke clasps can be added to further personalise the medal. Your ribbon is produced by Toye, Kenning & Spencer of Warwickshire, who along with Worcestershire Medal Services are both by Royal Appointment to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II.
The beneficiary of the Northern Ireland (Civilian) Home Services Medal is Sands – the Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Charity – who support all those affected by the death of a baby. The front of the medal encompasses N, E, S & W Ulster with compassionate and guiding hands and the emotive inscription upon the reverse of the medal, surmounted by the Crown and encompassed by laurel leaves being FOR SERVICES TO HUMANITY, and now gives those loyal to God, the Crown and Ulster the choice of a unique, limited edition medal to be proudly worn and handed down to future generations.
The new Northern Ireland (Civilian) Home Services Medal is available now. Only 1000 of these superb medals were struck. When they are gone they are gone! WOW,what a weekend,first time in london(wont be the last)parade was fantastic,our lodge had the best weekend away for a long time,from the train down on the friday morning till the taxi home at 8 o clock sunday night was what you expect from an orange weekend,its our big one on the 30th at whitburn,,its too late this year but if any london lodge would like a wee jaunt up here for next years gimme an email,cocz we want to go to yours again next year,,thanks again
