I would like to say well done to the 3 girls Sinead Rebecca and Shauna, they performed bril in Portugal. I have never been so proud of anybody in my life as i was of them girls..And for becca to take home a silver medal is just amazing as it is a tough competition, she fough realy well..
I would like to thank Frick and Christine for takin us under there wing they where amazing people and also all the other leaders there Dessy Murphy,,Des Lenard,,Ian Kingstone all equally amazing..

Folks, just want to say all us trikers had a great day on Sunday. All the riders were telling me afterwards what a good time they had and what a great rideout it was. They were well impressed with the individual and group performances and all the skills displayed. Cathal, Fearghal and Pearse, I was bursting to tell everyone "that's one of my nephews there - so is he - so is he - did you see what he did?" etc. You were all brilliant.

Here's some of the comments people made on our forum afterwards:
"fantastic day out, kids were amazing and i agree you should be very proud of your nephews. HUGE thankyou."
"that has to be the best ride I have been on so far ... The Martial Arts Team provided an excellent display they put their little hearts and souls into it, and you should be rightly very proud of your nephews."
"A great day, a very well organised event, and the reception when we arrived was unbelievable, hope this becomes an annual event."
"The kids put their heart and soul into the displays and the reception they gave us when we arrived at the hotel was second to none. A worthy cause indeed."

So you can see everyone was mighty impressed, it was obvious how much work and practice and preparation had gone into the whole day. Fair play to you all, hope to see you next year (so long as I don't have to organise anything!) for another great day out.
