The roots began in Santa Lucia del Mela, Messina, Sicily. Carmelo Spadaro, nato 1883, in Valguarnera Caropepe. Carmelo emigrated to South America, possibly Buenos Aires. He married, had some children, his wife died, and then the family lost track of him in the 1920's. I would like to find his descendants to add to the family tree.
