I ran into a super irritating network situation at my apartment this past week whenever my roommates and I were all online at the same time. Every evening around eight, my laptop connection would lag out during voice calls, while our smart TV kept buffering on simple high-definition videos, and my online games became totally unplayable with severe latency spikes. Our provider claims our connection is fine, but it really feels like our bandwidth gets choked whenever multiple gadgets draw heavy data simultaneously, so I am looking for a practical way to keep our speeds stable without hitting data caps or dealing with complicated router configurations.
