Berry back in shape after giving birth
LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) --
Actress Halle Berry, who showed off a flat post-pregnancy stomach during a Los Angeles shopping trip this week, says she plans to work less.
Berry was back to a svelte figure four months after giving birth to her daughter Nahla, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.
The 41-year-old's athletic stomach was seen as the "Monster's Ball" actress went shopping Friday in Los Angeles, the British newspaper said.
Berry said after giving birth in March that she expected her newfound motherhood would alter the sex symbol roles she had been earning in Hollywood, People reported.
"I feel having a baby will open up a whole new world for me. I think I'll actually find better roles, because I've gotten past being the ingenue and sex symbol," she said in May.
"I'm definitely going to work less. I used to put so much pressure on myself to succeed that it often made me very unhappy in my personal life. I felt on the verge of burning out three or four years ago."
