Hi I'm wondering if anyone can throw some light on a family query . My uncles war record show he served on repulse from jan 1939 to may 1941 ! Which seems impossible ? his is name Ronald Victor Baker. Does not appear on ships crew lists ? family tales say he survived , he later was killed on Hms Regent in 1943. He was a engineer joining the RN from Greenwich as a boy in 1935. Achieving rank of warrant engineer. Would be so good to find opinions about his name and why he is not listed ?
