This is a request for any information anyone may be abe to give about a Jack Whitear who served on the Repulse and perished with its sinking.

He was my mother's father and she never knew him as she was too young when he died.

She would dearly love to hear from anyone who may have known him at any time.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could offer any information, no matter how trivial.
