Hello everyone
I have been researching my uncle Jimmy (James George McAfee RN Stoker) who I sadly never knew. He was on the repulse when it went down and was saved and arrived at HMS Sultan (Singapore) on 11 Dec 41 and was one of many captured in Mar 42, he sadly died on the Thai -Burma railway on 24 Jan 44 (Dysentry) and is remembered at Kanchanaburi War Cemetry in Thailand (RIP)
The RN naval records office have been a great help but if anyone has anymore information or if anyone knew my uncle it would be great to chat. Good luck to you all - Best regards - Dave
