My grandmother Concetta Cafiso was born in Valguarnera in 1885. After a great singing career in numerous Italian theaters (in Romagna and Rome above all), she was accused of being a prostitute by an author of Sicilian theater. But it wasn't only her that was cursed by the Sicilian, it was the entire town of Valguanera.


I appeal to create a Commity for rehabilitation of my grandmother's name and the town of Valguarnera.


Mia nona Concetta Cafiso nascio' in Valguarnera en el ano 1885. Dopo una granda cariera di catadora nei megliori theatri di Italia (in particulare in Romagna and in Roma) fue difammada da un cornuto scritore di theatro Siziliano como putana etc. In mismo tiempo fue difamata bela cita' di Valguarnera. Credo sea arivado il momiento di creare comitato per reabilitacione mia nona and sua cita' nadale.
