Just wanted to mention that my 50 & Over Team (Travelodge of America)just barely missed winning another World Tournament. This past weekend we finished 2nd out of 11 of the top teams in the country in the LVSSA Major World Series in Las Vegas. We lost by 1 run on a 7th inning walk-off homerun in the winner's bracket final. Then we won by 1 run on a 7th inning walk-off homerun in the loser's bracket final. We then beat the team in the 1st finals game 34-18 but lost a very close one in the 2nd finals game. We played extremely well and went 6-2 against great competition. We had 4 of our players make the All World Team including myself and 2 guys from Louisville and 1 from Indiana.
Hope everyone else fared well in their World Tournaments and represented Northern Ky Softball in great fashion.
