Re: How old where you when you bought your first set of soldiers?
I was about 8 years old. Bought Airfix 8th Army from a W.W.Woolworths 5 and dime store. I still have them. They have been joined by about 6000 others to date. Little did I know then, that 40 years later it would turn into a life long hobby. Over 500 models of tanks and airplanes and 6000 figures, all hand painted except for the most recent purchases, which are in process. Some of my original Airfix DAK and 8th Army are so old they are brittle and break when handled. Its a war gamers life for me!!
