Strangely neither these, or the upcoming earlier French infantry include an "A" in the MAC format. Maybe the "As" don't sell as well. Or are more complicated to make?

If Hat for some obscure reason want to avoid Action figures I seriously doubt it will be a big hit, especially for Napoleonic infantry regiment.
It is normal not to have action figures on a tank riders set for example, but for fighting infantry it doesn't make sense, I bet very few could be interested by such set.
Being a wargamer I will buy this set only with another set of action figures, without action figures I don't have any use for this set and will not buy, but maybe Hat don't want my money, anyway, plenty of others manufacturers will be satisfied with my cash.

Doesn't really matter to me that no A set has been announced yet. I probably wouldn't buy it anyway.

As a wargamer I prefer my battalions of infantry marching - after all it was what most of them did most of the time. It's easier to create units on the base sizes I use and it creates a good visual representation.

Ok so you're not a wargamer and this set is intended for you, because a wargamer play only the battle, not the ininteresting marching columns quietly going to the battlefield because there's no game with it, except for the long and hard retreat of Russia, which can be considered as a long battle with cossacks. But here too I need firing figures.

I will not change Hat decision if they don't want action figures, I'm just reacting and will do without such set.

By the way, Hat is the only manufacturer able to spoil a whole set by the quality of plastic or the choices of poses when they release something that can interest you, I'm just saying. It never happened to me before with any other brand.

What is wrong with you fellow? If you hate HÂT and can only blame them for not living up to your personal taste, and you prefer other brands, then what are you doing here?

You may also have misunderstood the MAC concept. Three different boxes, not one blended together as in other compagnies boxes. And your insult to another wargamer here is unheard of. So, please, relax.

Just try to read what I wrote and not interpret it the way you want. This message board is conceived to give our opinion and not just saying : WOW, Geeeeee, SUPER, GREAT, MARVELOUS and so on.
My comment are constructive, I will buy this set only with action figure sets, and it will make a great total number of poses if so, that's simple. If there's no action set I will not buy, and yes, it's frustrating to see a set spoiled like this, that's all.

If I doubted of your wargame practice (and it's not an insult) it's because action figures are always the hardcore of any wargamers I've met until now, and I'm also like them. The diorama builders have a different view with usually out of combat scenery, soldiers resting or marching, busy with common task like repair, food and so on. This set is for them, not for me.
