After reading all the blogs about the brittle plastic problems that you guys have experienced I wanted to find out for myself what could be the cause and see if there was a reason for it. So I went to see a very good friend of mine who is very well respected in this field and he told me the following. If the machine runner who is responsible for the casting is either running the machine to fast and to hot you will end up with brittle plastic. Also if the rejected shots are recycled the same problem will occur even more so. So the brittle plastic problem points to the machine runner not taking note of the temperature and speed of his machine. I hope this is of some help.
