I think it was 1972-1973 - I was 4 or 5 years old.

It was Airfix FFL - I was very proud as my granddad served in FFL during WW1.

There also was a lot of Atlantic - it might be that I had some Atlantic figures before these... I also had lot of swoppets and Marx cowboys before 1/72...

First set I painted was 'At The Pharaoh's Court' - at the time I used tempera paints and flowmasters coated with transparent nail polish! I had no idea there were other paints that can be used for models! I must have been about 8 years old...
