Pearl Harbor should have been an excellent movie. They cut the film budget in half about four times and so we ended up with a piece of junk. If you watch the scene where the Japanese plane drops the bomb on the Arizona, you get the idea how good it could have been if they had the budget. That part was filmed early before the budget cuts.

Tora! Tora! Tora! is an excellent movie and very accurate depiction of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Even many of the little details are correct.
