Re: wargames table

Hi Richard

I started off with two decorators paste tables and two pieces of 4 x 4 mdf. These went up in our kitchen every Wednesday night, but the drawback was that my wife couldn't get to anything on the other side of the kitchen (eg fridge, kettle etc) and when we had the garden re-landscaped about 8 years ago suggested I get a shed!

So shed MkI came along, which was 12ft x 10ft (sorry about the imperial measurements, but I don't do metric) with a 10ft x 6ft wargames table made out of 2"x 2" timber and mdf. That lasted until a couple of months ago, when it was dismantled to make room for shed MkII.

Shed MkII, which arrives next Friday, will be 22ft x 10ft, and will have a 12ft x 6ft table in it plus shelving for terrain boards (made out of shed MkI!!) and lots of other space.

The moral of this tale is - if you get in your wife's way enough she'll give in!!
