Retreat of Russian cavalry
One battery of 4 russian cannons move up. Russian line attacks but they come in my line of fire.
The Russian battery is protected by the Russian cavalry that regrouped behind the battery.
There is too much cavalry to attack the battery, so Austrians retreat to keep out of the line of fire.
Attack: left Austrian Landwehr line
Casualties:
Russian infantry: -6
Austrian landwehr. -16 (Ouch)
Austrians retreat to the second row where there are three squares and in between there are two cannons between each square.
The Russians have moved up their second line and cannons.
The Austrians are still out of reach of the Russian cannons and I’m planning to continue the retreat to make the front longer.
As soon as the first battery of four cannons is weak I’m planning to attack with my cavalry but….
That battery is in reach of the eight cannons on the hill on the right. So I have to retreat further, hoping that the Russians move their first line and cannons further up.
