Re: What are your three favourite War Movies?

In no particualar order:

- "The Winter War" (Talvisota in finnish)- a well made finnish war movie with accurate equipment (T-26 tanks!). See it!

- "Saving Private Ryan". The knife-fight scene between one of the americans and a Waffen-SS soldier where the knife slowly goes into the american has stuck in my mind, and propably captures the frightening reputation that the SS had on the allied soldiers, without exaggerating/stereotyping it in hollywood style.

- "Stalingrad". Too seldom is the WWII being portrayed by the germans themselves!
