Try Senarmont's innovative tactics at Friedland: an artillery assault.

This French general had his artillery firing & being manhandled forward, constantly narrowing the range, until he destroyed large numbers of Russian guns & infantry.

At the very least, you'll occupy the enemy with shooting your guns to pieces whilst your infantry mounts a flank attack.

(I will add the secret of being a good Napoleonic general was not to fear huge casualties. It works for wargamers as well)
