Luckily it's all behind us now, even the burning of York (present day Toronto), the US scorched earth actions in southwest Ontario and along the Niagara frontier, nor the treatment of Indians, all of which prompted the burning of Washington in retaliation.

- Canadian Voltigueurs
- US riflemen
- US cavalry
- round-hatted Canadian 'regulars' and militia units
- US infantry in their distinctive non-Belgic shakos
