They did - Portuguese uniforms were produced in Britain using British patterns and shipped to the Pennisular in vast quantities(hence my surprise that the members here are saying the uniform is substantially different from that of the British rifles). Stocks of Portugues uniforms were supplied to teh Prussian and Dutch armies 1814/15...
