Used to use my younger brothers's legos to set up historic scenarios for them on their bedroom floor. I did the Alamo Church out of legos in 1/32 scale along with other pieces for the rest of the compound. I used Marx Civil War guys and cowboys for the battle (didn't even know about the Marx Alamo sets yet) used the kepi guys for Mexicans. Lego blocks were somewhat after my time.

Now what I DID play with a lot were Lincoln Logs. How many frontier settlements or even modern entrenchments did I make with those babies. My wife (sweet thing she is) bought me a set a few Christmases back and has picked up yet another at a yard sale, I hope to get them out finally one day and regress.
