Depending on how many huts you want, a pocket friendly alternative to making them:

Some craft shops sell polystyrene balls of various sizes. The 8cm diameter is a a good size to go for. Cut it in half (there is a fine mold line as a guide and you get two huts). Put a small base on (to look like a mushroom) and cover it with whatever material you prefer. I use rolled sheets of clay and stamp the effect on to it.
