Re: Speedpainting Tips

I glue about 10 to 12 figures to a 1/2" x 1/2" square stick, it's about a foot or so in length. I glue all the same poses side by side. Then paint all the blue bits, then the white parts, then black, skin etc. Or whatever order makes sense for the uniform. This gets you about half-way there pretty quickly.

Then I put the individual figs on a piece of dowel, adhered with sticky-tack. Then I paint all the details—buttons, trim, lace, cockades, epaulets, etc.

This second half takes forever and a day and I daydream, saying my next army is going to be WW1 Austrians
