I don't know about that! We seem to have a ton of people selling here so we must have a pretty solid buying base or these people would be out of business!
I think the bottom line is that crap figures don't sell! With all due respect to IMEX, they have not done us very good justice! Their ACW infantry sets are OK, but their cavalry & artillery sets are not! I wasn't at all happy with their Mex/Amer war US troops! & their AWI are reissues of Accurate with some not so good artillery sets!
I agree with what someone else said; (& I apologize for forgetting who!) that 1/72 does not seem all that interested! US sets seem to florish in 1/32 & other scales!
LOL! Good one Mike!
I agree, I bought some few imex ACW set (artillery/cavalry) just to diversify poses because the Italeri/Esci/Revell sets are far superior and represent 80% of my ACW army waiting to be painted.
The best 1/72 artillery set ever seen are those from Zvezda (Napoleon), perfect to my taste and Italeri Union/Confederate cavalry are really good.
A bad set, whatever the period of history, will always be hard to sell. It's all about how the manufacturer choose to cover the subject.
