Re: Napoleonic pose selections...

Hi Hatblogger

In regards to the question of sprue configuration for the 3 types of poses: Marching,Advancing,Firing/Loading. If possible I would like to see the following:
(assuming there will be a separate Command set)

12 Figure sprue (Line Infantry,Grenadiers)

6 Marching (6 poses ideally or 4 poses minimum)
1 Loading
1 Firing
4 Advancing (4 poses for variation: figures advancing at pace - no static figures please)

Advancing figure poses I like include the following:

1st & 2nd figures in 1st row in line drawings
1st figure in 2nd row in line drawings
Prussian Landwehr

1st figure 2nd row in line drawings
Late Prussian Infantry

8 Figure sprue (Line Infantry,Grenadiers)

4 Marching (4 poses)
1 Loading
1 Firing
2 Advancing (2 poses)

12 Figure sprue (Light Infantry, skirmishers etc)

3 Marching (3 poses)
3 Loading (3 poses - may include - reaching pouch, biting cartridge, priming, standard loading)
3 Firing (3 poses - standing x2 variations, kneeling x1)
3 Advancing 3 poses for variation: figures advancing at pace - no static figures please)

8 Figure sprue (Light Infantry, skirmishers etc)

2 Marching (2 poses)
3 Loading (3 poses - may include - reaching pouch, biting cartridge, priming, standard loading)
3 Firing (3 poses - standing x2 variations, kneeling x1)

Ideally I would like to see the MAC format employed across the board for Napoleonic Infantry for all nations involved during the Napoleonic Wars. However if this is not possible a combined marching/action sprue of 12 figures is preferable to the eight figure sprue.

However I very much hope that all 3 elements of the MAC format are employed for the major nations involved in the Napoleonic Wars.

Best regards
Libero
