Re: Conversion potential of German wagons (E21 release)?

WWI wagons saw limited use in WWII because most were destroyed after WWI as part of the treaty to end the war.

WWII wagons were in many different versions but many are variations on a theme. The basic HaT wagon can be modified for a number of versions. They had signals wagons of many types. They carried telephone switch boards, Enigma machines, wire, and other signals gear. They were attached as supply wagons and most of these wagons will be with a platoon or a company to carry their baggage. Uniforms, backpacks, boots, blankets, tentage.

Mess wagons were specialized, like limbers and the platoon wagon and don't look like the HaT wagon.

They did have a field forge that looks like the HaT wagon, and various specialists used them for repair, armorer, veterinary, cobbler, tailor.

Most were used for general supply carrying, animal feed, people food, ammo, and gasoline.

They were towed by Ost tracters, SdKfz 11 halftracks, two horses, four horses, six horses, eight horses, Russian Panje ponies, two hump camels, one hump camels, cows, reindeer, donkeys, and mules, even soldiers.

There are many changes you can do with the load they carry and the method of towing. I probably have fifty from various companies already, mostly metal and a few pre-production HaT wagons. I plan on buying a lot more.
