I was at a metal festival that night, so I was camping when the quake started. i didn't ear it, but some friends who live in Emilia were outright scared. a lot of damage, but it seems less than we had feared at first. anyway 7 people died, 3 of them of heart failure it seems. some other are badly injured. hundreds will sleep in tents, for the next days at least.
my town is in Romagna so quite far from the starting point - my family did hear the quake clearly, but no damage was received it seems.
