It's true that the HTTY set leaves a bit to be desired, but the Waterloo set is actually quite nice: all the grace and anatomical correctness of the Esci and early Italeri stuff, but without some of the daft poses. My only gripes match those put forward by others: proportionately too many command figures, and not enough marching figures, but, that was the Waterloo format at the time.
I overcame the issue of light infantry and Grenadiers by doing head swaps with Hat light infantry in Bardin uniforms: most have their arms/weapons in a position where you couldn't distinguish the coattee from a Kurtka.
Technically you could also do head swaps with the Hat Wurtemburgers, as they have the same sort of coat.
The Strelets set are both nice, but, as noted, both are really half sets, and the one with the French engineers are hard to get hold of these days.
All that said, i wouldn't object to Hat Poles in MAC, or big box format, but anything else would be rather pointless as it would just go over old ground, adding very little.
