Ladies (of Olivia, Suede followers...)

A new fan of Suede's, having just seen her preform on the thanksgiving cruise - wow, she was indeed an extraordinary talent.

Thanks to Dutey for putting me on to this website (and to Dutey, Carol and Annette for fab company during the cruise).

I listened to a Suede CD (purchased on the cruise) in the car on the way home from the airport - great, great memory of an extraordinary trip, Suede's show and new friends.

Has Suede recorded (or does she perform) "Peel me a grape"? There is a great version of this by Blossom Dearie...

Glad to share the experience of Suede's performances with others. She does so much to brighten our lives by sharing her talents.

On the recent Thanksgiving Cruise, Diva was pleasantly surprised by Vickie Shaw and the other entertainers with a beautiful birthday cake at the end of her performance. The obvious affection and admiration of fellow performers was likely the best birthday present of all. The audience cheered and sang as one might expect.

Had the wonderful experience of spending time with Mint Julip on the return from the cruise. She sends her best to other devotees and was delighted to hear of the birthday surprise on the cruise. She sends special wishes for health and happiness to friend Sallie.

Dutey

Once AGAIN, moved beyond tears, laughter and words....

As many have witnessed/posted, Suede has done it AGAIN, and AGAIN and AGAIN with her phenomenal talents.

On the most recent OLIVIA Eastern Caribbean Cruise, during BOTH performances, Suede had the audiences on their feet, as others tried to climb the stage. Whether one was "hooked" on a lingering note or mesmerized by the amount of "spotlight" time she gave her "newly assembled" musicians (pianist, drummer, saxophonist and bassist), Suede continued to SCALE "uncharted waters", as the passionate and playful artist she embodies. Plus, since her shows are usually filled with surprises, meaning ANYTHING could happen AND, quite frankly, it did. WHAT A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY SURPRISE AND CELEBRATION!!!!! !!

Suede, what a pleasure, for MANY, to be in the audience where you continue to DEFY GRAVITY, as a singer, musician, comedian and MC!!!!
