Tin Angel Show was Absolutely AMAZING!

I've been a fan of Suede for years, back when I first discovered the recording of The Flirtations, Three. “Fun, Fun, Fun” was my theme song for many years. Sadly I was never able to see her in concert. That changed Sat. night when I saw her show at Tin Angel in Philly. I can’t believe that I deprived myself of THE DIVA for so long!

Words cannot begin to describe what a phenomenal performer she is! I've seen countless Broadway shows, Linda Eder and Cher concerts, and many other mainstream and indie artists, but NONE OF THEM can hold a candle to Suede. I was enamored with her from start to finish (even when she “yelled” at me when I ran to the bathroom towards the end of the show).

I have never encountered a performer so real, authentic, and genuine on and off the stage. I spent all day Sunday listening to the new CD, able to connect with it in a much different way after seeing her live. I can't understand why the entire world isn't singing her praises. I've emailed friends and posted details on my blog. This was an incredible experience I'll never forget.

Thank you, Suede, for being made of the Awesome! I look forward to seeing you again live, and bringing many of my friends.

Re: Tin Angel Show was Absolutely AMAZING!

david,

what a great story! so glad it finally worked to see the live show. we do have fun, don't we!

thanks for your post and for being so gracious when I played with you on your way to the loo in philly. since anyone who heads to the rest rooms in that club has to walk right by the stage I could not resist the opporunity to mess with you. sorry. okay, not completely. I do thank you for waiting to make the walk until I was between songs....

your post, and peter's, made my day, esp. on the heels of the london suede nastiness. perfect timing, dear. great to see you in philly and have the chance to meet you as well. what a doll.

gratefully yours and looking forward to the next time I see you,
suede
