Old Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner or Commissioner's Bicorn Hat

I have a very nice and very old Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner or Commissioner's Bicorn Ceremonial hat for sale or trade. This beautiful hat has a large silver King's Crown ACPO Button on the side. It appears to be made of seal skin or some other material along those lines? The inside label states that the manufacturer is Moss Brothers Co Ltd Covent Gardens London. This beautiful hat is worn with the Ceremonial Court Dress Uniform. The hat has the hole in the top for the feather plum but it is missing the Swan Feathers or plume that are worn with this hat. I was told it was worn by a Met Police Commissioner from there early 1900's but feel it may have been worn in the 1940's-1970's era? This same style hat is pictured on page 17 (B/2) of the Badges of Office written by M.B. Taylor and V.L. Wilkinson. There are photos of this hat on the PMCC Classified Section under Helmets.
