Hi there, I am serving officer from a Scottish force, new to collecting, was hoping somebody out there could point me in direction of places to buy helmets and truncheons and possibily old style hiats lantern.

For starters why not have a good look round the PMCC classified adverts? There are truncheons and helmets mentioned there.
Look back through postings on the forum and you may well find something of help.
Then have a look at my own website (details below) where I have helmets and truncheons listed.
Try a Google search on Police helmets for sale & Police Truncheons for sale & Hiatt lantern.
Try eBay for the same. Especially item 200408385903.
Try a Google search for Police Collectors and be amazed!
Tenterden Antiques Centre, Kent, 01580 766116 had an ancient police bludgeon available a couple of weeks ago.
