Good to see your contributors Hal Colebatch and Matthew Harrington have a new book out in the Man-Kzin Wars (Man-Kzin Wars XI).
I've just finished it and it's the best science-fiction I've read for a long time (the whole series is excellent)- a consistant universe with exciting, surprising, believable and sometimes moving characters, with good science and plenty of action. The whole hair-trigger relationship between humans and Kzin is fascinating. Some unforgettable scenes and images.
The ferocious but honourable Kzinti are a brilliant creation, and their human friends and enemies equally so. These two writers are different is styyle but complement each other perfectly. Once you've entered their universe it stays with you.
