Looking at the "Spectator" recently, it occurred to me that its cartoons now only have one subject - the loss of nerve of the British middle-class.
I've been putting together a second book on Britian's culture-war (Sequel to my 1999 "Blair's Britain") for some time now, and it seems to me something very strange is going on there. I've got my own ideas as to exactly what, but I'd be interested to know what others think.
