Beetle on Mt. Popomanaseu
Hello,
I am a student researcher in Canada studying burying beetles from Southeast Asia. There is a species of beetle that only occurs on Mt. Popomanaseu that I would like to study; however only 4 specimens have ever been collected.
I am wondering if you knew anyone who goes hiking up there? I am willing to pay someone $200.00 US for collecting this beetle. I would then study the beetle and give the specimens to the Solomon Islands National Museum.
Please let me know if you know anyone who would be willing to collect this beetle and make some money. Or, please put me in touch with someone who could help me.
