On behalf of the French army, allow me to congratulate you on being the highest ranking (don't worry some liberally sprinkled perfume will mask that) officer in L'Expedition Particuliere.
On a related note, in your designing forays with the new French & Indian Wars project, have you come across any useful sources regarding the French Army in North America in the 18th Century? I have Rene' Chartrand's 'French Army in the American War of Independence' on order but I am eager to get a hold of any sources on French flags and uniforms I can get.
