Just send the last file that you do have to Ernie Sands elsands@bellatlantic.net (he handles all the Tourney End Games) He should have the password or at least can get it from Colin. Just let him know that Colin gave up.





Send as much info as you can with the file. Such as Game number (J407) - Last Turn - Copy of your opponent last email. etc. Since your opponent quit the game it will be a forfeiture and you will receive a Major victory. Your points (if Ernie can get into the file) will be prorated (as all games have been) to allow for completion of all 60 turns.

I just got a message from my Hesssian opponent, Colin von Dongen, and he is bagging the battle due to other priorities. I no longer have a non-encrypted file and do not remember to points, other than to say I was ahead with status being a draw.




He was retreating down the map into some of my forces, and I was following from the left and top of the map. I also had a nasty surprise ready to spring from the right side of the map that would have captured many supplies and potentially way-laid some fighting units as well. Oh Well.




Call it a draw, or a minor victory, and it's done.
