Mike Scuzzarella was known this year for his knowledge of major League Baseball trivia. So said the announcers from Bristol at the LL Eastern Regional Final. There was a story in the Williamsport paper during the series about the teams baseball trivia knowledge. They were asked about the 1986 World Series in which the Boston Red Sox lost to the New York Mets in seven games. In the sixth game with the Sox up by two in the bottom of the ninth they lost it and it is why Bill Buckner is so famous in Boston. Anyway the Saugus team was asked whether they knew anything about that Series. (They were not even born then). One of the players answered in that great Boston accent: Bucknahh... sqibbah thru the legs! I laughed when I read it.
