This is my opinion of the tax system in the United States.
My view is widely unpopular on all spectrum. Republicans and Democrats will most likely disagree. If you don’t like unpopular views on the tax system stop the video now.

The tax system is flawed. It’s not fair for the very poor or for the very rich if followed correctly. I will talk about income tax only. Taxes such as property, gift and estate taxes can be talked about another time.
To put it simply, the government should be able to survive or even thrive on 25% of our earned income. The total tax rate should be fixed at 25%, no exceptions. This includes federal, state and anything in-between (no cuts!). If you make $100, you give up $25. If you make $1,000,000 you give up $250,000.
I’m a strong believer that success and hard work should be rewarded and celebrated. Likewise, laziness and cheating should be discouraged and punished (in most cases).
You may be thinking it’s not fair. You are right on some accounts. Some people are born into poverty and are raised with poor education, and vice versa.
The great part about the current USA is that there are opportunities to better yourself for free and make higher wages.
The tax rate shouldn't increase when you start making more money. To me this is a form of punishment for success. To truly be fair to everyone the tax rate MUST be the same for everyone. Success is rewarded in this way.
As a country we waste a lot of money that’s the bad part about the current USA. The people in charge of spending are not so good at their job.
As soon as we replace the greedy and foolish people in charge, the sooner the country will thrive. My model may not work, but it’s time to try something new.

Spending ridiculous amounts of money on simple construction projects.
Military spending (a very large portion of the budget goes weapons and such)
