Last night on a rerun of "Northern Exposure", the idiot who plays the town disc jockey was giving a history lesson to one of the citizens.

He stated that the Janissaries were made up entirely of Homosexual Warriors, similar to the 4th Century BC Greeks known as the Sacred Band. HUH ???????

I got so mad that I actually shouted at the television screen. I had watched reruns of "Northern Exposure" for years but I guess I missed that particular episode. How can Hollywood persistantly get it wrong year after year and get away with it.

If the Turkish Janissaries were Homosexual, than that is news to me !!!
