For those of you who enjoyed "The Secret Life of Bees", book and/or movie, Beth Hoffman's first novel, "Saving CeeCee Honeycutt", is a must read. It is a coming-of-age story set in Savannah, Georgia that will have you laughing aloud on one page and tearing up with emotion three pages later as CeeCee tells her story. Make sure you have nothing else to do the day you pick this book up. You will not want to put it down until you turn the last page. It will be a day well spent.
