Cup Semi at Hythe in doubt?
Could this site post as soon as they know if Tues nights game at Hythe is on or off, as its a long way to go to find no one there on the night (See Sevenoaks earlier this season )With 80 mph winds forcast and heavy rain on top of that until Wed there must be a doubt of this game being on Ps. Can you make the italics on the preview message page not in block please? |

Just spoken to Hythe secretary and the pitch is currently (Mon 3.00) under water and bits of the stands have blown off. There will be a pitch inspection in the morning and the result will be posted on the front page as soon as it is confirmed one way or the other. |

TeeDee. Swift posting of game postponed on HBFC website at Hythe tonight well done m8. I put it on the Kent League forum just to let any ground hoppers know that might have thought about travelling down there.

Just a thought here. Why now we are playing catch up with our league fixtures do we not have a game on Sat 22nd March? We still have Sporting Bengal to play at home who are not fixtured on that Sat or the following Bank holiday Monday. Would'nt that make sense all round? It totally baffles me sometimes why this happens!

There is a reserve game on that saturday at home to Dover and the first team have Hythe away on the Monday, also the charity match is being played on Monday at home/. |

although a lot of fixtures are strangly arranged, just look at the first six may be seven fixtures for the reserves they were all away and yet Lordswood had 7 home games, sometimes the reserves have three game across the month then may have four games in ten days at other times!! |

Pretty obvious why the reserves were away at the start of the season. Because the first team were at home! Sat 18 Aug H - FA Cup Sat 25 Aug H - League Sat 1 Sep H - FA Cup Sat 8 Sep H - League Sat 15 Sep H - FA Cup Sat 22 Sep H - FA Vase Four home draws in FA competitions is pretty unusual! |
