Well Done
What an excellent performance today by a very young team against a force to be reckoned with in the Kent League,VCD, every player involved should be very proud. Play like that and even Hythe, who must be favourites for a cup final place, will be worried............bring it on !! UTB. |

Yes Chris a great display by the youngsters. You saw towards the end of the game how the young legs ran rings round the old tired legs of VCD. In hindsight we should have started playing all these youngsters much earlier in the season. They are doing Bay proud!

Alan Hanson once said on Match of the Day that you wont win anything with kids. It must be remembered that on a couple of occasions we have fielded a young side and got punished for it. What Saturday showed is that these players have the ability and speed. Do they have all the ingredients for sustained winning performance? I don't think so, not yet. But I thoroughly enjoyed watching a very good game and I for one am happy to take these occasions one at a time. Enjoy

Is it true as a gesture of goodwill from the club, that the 1st team this year only have to pay half price to attend the 'End of term Soccer School' for 6-14 year olds in April being held at Winches Field?
