I hate to get you off your high horse but in order for you to play War of 1812, you are going to need every British Napoleonic set you can get your hands on, and then you going to ask for more British Nappie sets because you will realize what is missing, as they where fought at exactly the same time. (Highlanders in Trews for the 2/91st) and a ton of Higlander units in the Napoleonic Wars.

As for the Americans well, your going to have to be more specific. The then 16 states all had their own uniforms, the US Army had a winter and a summer uniform, and there was something called Volunteer Regiments in the states at the time, with there own ideas of how to make a uniform. Of course, not all these units fought, and good luck finding info about some of the units that did. If you could find me a New York State Militia clothing regulations, I would be thankful.

Most of the "Canadian" Units had the same uniforms (although not as smart an appearence as the British Napoleonic sets on offer. ) And to tell you the turth I would be very shocked if anyone offered a pack of Uniquiely Canadian War of 1812 unit(s) like the Canadian Voltigeurs with their bearskins.

I hate to tell you this, but that "Call to Arms Beligum/Dutch Infantry set does look like it can be used as the bases for a paint conversion to "Caldwell's Rangers", but then a that's another nappy set you are not too crazy about.

Pick up the four Osprey's dealing with the War of 1812 and starting thinking of paint conversions and full-scale conversions, there's enough nappy stuff to have 1 to 1 scale battles for the War of 1812.
