These guys sell all types of resins and provide technical help too. Check out the website you will learn a lot.

Also you can use hydrocal plaster if you want to use plaster. Buy it at home improvement stores, it is used to cast outdoor lawn ornaments and is very strong compared to most plasters, but I recommend the resin.
