Thanks to the guys on this forum, I've ordered a set of Linka molds to make my own scale model of Hougemont. Can anyone give me a tip on a good medium to use to make it? I know it says plaster, but I kind of want something a bit more durable than plaster. I've thought about casting it in resin, would resin work good with these molds (as I've never used them before)? Is there something like plaster but sturdier? What would I use to keep the cast from sticking to the mold? I know I could probably find this out online, but would prefer hearing and learning from your experience. Thanks ahead of time. |
