The Germans had about 1500 tanks in Normandy, The British 3000 and the US 2000. That is a ratio of 3 to 1! Therefore we must have 3 to 1 ratio of allied boxes.
What about late war Canadians, Winter Canadians, Winter Brits, Polish (Uk style) troops, Polish Paratroopers, canadian paratroopers??? Ok we can get them probably from existing sets (although the badges are wrong shape).
Both Late and early war, the French fielded troops from Morroco, Senegal and Algeria. There late war equipment was a real mix of traditional French, British and Americans. Then there were French naval personel that fought as soldiers (complete with bobble beret). Yet none are presented.... |
